2013 Summer Camp Schedule

Young Birders Camp

2013 Date: July 8-11
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Registration Deadline: Monday, July 1
Cost: $125 Member, $150 Non-Member
Ages: 7-13 REGISTER

Campers explore the life of birds through discovery hikes, migration challenges, adaptation stations, nature journaling, and field guide and binocular 101. Students receive binoculars and field guides to keep and earn a badge and certificate upon completion.

Scholarships are supported by donations from generous museum members
and the Tri-County Bird Club.

Nature Photography Camp

2013 Date: June 18 - June 21
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Registration Deadline: Monday, June 10
Cost: $125 Member, $150 Non-Member
Ages: 14-20 REGISTER

Students ages 14 – 20 learn wildlife and landscape photography techniques and photo processing from expert photographers in this engaging day camp. Daily sessions include field trips and lab sessions. Each participant will leave with two 8x10 prints and a collection of digital photos.  

The enrollment period will remain open until camp fills, or until one week prior to the start of the camp session. Full refunds will be made until one week prior to the start of camp session. No refunds will be made after that time.

Upon receipt of your camper’s registration, you will be sent a welcome letter and packet of information on preparing your camper along with necessary forms.
