Professional Development Training for Educators

Environmental Education Trainings can be scheduled upon special request for groups of 10 or more. Curriculums that are available for trainings include: Project WET 2.0, Project WILD, Growing Up WILD, Project Learning Tree, Flying WILD, and Pass It On. Project WET, Project WILD and Project Learning Tree are eligible for obtaining one MSDE professional development credit. Great for professional development days!

The Ward Museum provides FREE Flying WILD Resource Kits and Growing Up WILD Resouce Kits for Educators who have received Flying WILD and Growing Up WILD educator training.

A K-12 Curriculum and Activity Guide. The Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art seeks to deepen and extend its educational offerings to the Lower Eastern Shore and the state of Maryland by offering a K-12 curriculum and activities guide.

Student Art Show will be on February 17, 2017

The annual non-competitive Student Art Show is open to all students on the Delmarva Peninsula in kindergarten through 12th grade. The event is open to public, private, and homeschooled students.

The Ward Museum is a MAEOE Green Center that can help schools become certified MAEOE Green Schools. This program is a great way for students to execute a community action plan that will help them reach their goals Environmental Literacy Standard.
