Dougless Jester

Doug Jester was born in Chincoteague, Virginia in 1876. He is known for his very simple and unstylized decoys. He carved all species but concentrated on bluebills, buffleheads, black ducks, brant, geese and a few pintails. His most well known decoys are his hooded and red-breasted mergansers. He died in 1961.
