Jerry Simchuk

Jerry grew up in the northwest were he spent numerous days in and around nature. During this time he grew to have an appreciation of and involvement in art with his many days and nights painting and exploring other mediums.

It was in 1993 that he found woodcarving to be a perfect medium to express his artistic talents, attention to detail and love of wildlife together. Since his first competition in 1994, Jerry has competed regularly at top-level bird carving shows around the country. He has received numerous high level awards with his wide variety of wildfowl and fish sculptures. Jerry has been invited to judge at some of these same shows he grew from. Most notable was the 2004, 2005 and 2009 Ward World Championships.

Most recently Jerry has been creating bronze sculptures adding an exciting addition to his works of art.

Jerry currently resides in Kalispell Montana on a small farm with his wife Kate where he continues to build his reputation as a full time wildlife artist, sculptor, judge, and instructor.
