Winter Fun at the Ward Museum
Winter brings more good reasons to visit the Ward Museum on Maryland’s Eastern Shore where art, nature and tradition come together through exhibits, educational events and activities.
The sounds of the holiday season are in the air. Keep the Ward Museum in mind when you do your holiday shopping. The Museum Store is filled with artwork by local and regional artisans. Hand-crafted jewelry, writing instruments and notecards are available, just to name a few. Shopping for little ones on your list? Our children’s corner has a wide variety of educational games, books and activities for youth. In addition we have a nice selection of books on cooking, decoys, carving, birding and more.
The Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art thanks the many members, donors and volunteers who enjoy our many programs throughout the year. Now you can do even more to help us without it costing you a penny. Go to Shop For Museums whenever you shop online and a percentage of your purchase amount will be donated to the Ward Museum at no extra cost to you! Find many exclusive sales and discounts you won't get elsewhere while shopping the most popular stores.
Come in out of the cold! Join museum educators in the museum's lobby for Drop In Art from 10 a.m. to Noon on the 3rd Saturday of each month. It’s free and fun for all ages. On December 21 come in to create a Snowflake Mobile. Mobiles are a beautiful and complex art form that captures the delicate balance of art and physics.
