Education Calendar

The Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art's education calendar is updated regularly. Some events may require pre-registration and may not take place at the Museum so you will want to view the program details. Indigenous Landscapes: The Cultural History of the Chicone Reservation

Join Chief Donna Abbott (Nause-Waiwash) and Dr. Virginia Busby (Maryland Commission on Indian Affairs) as they talk about the history of the Native people of Chicone (nearby present-day Vienna, MD), the evolution of their cultural landscape, and the lives of the indigenous people of this region today. Supported by the Maryland Humanities Council.
