With a range of options, the Ward Museum’s summer camp offerings have something for everyone. From science to art, we have the perfect mix of fun and education for your child.
Space is limited. All camps are Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm. $100 per child per camp for Ward Museum family-level members, $125 per child per camp for everyone else. Call us at 410-742-4988 ext. 120 to sign up!
Camp Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be administered if cancellation occurs more than 1 month from camp start date, minus a $25 processing fee. A 50% refund will be issued if cancellation occurs more than 2 weeks from the camp start date. No refund will be issued if cancellation occurs less than two weeks from the camp start date. Special cases will be at the discretion of the Ward Museum.
(FREE) The Ward Museum has discovery backpacks fully outfitted with everything you would need for a scientific investigation of the natural world. Free for use around the museum grounds during normal business hours. The backpacks, funded by the Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network, are filled with tools to assist students’ nature study on the trail.
(FREE) Every Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Share a story followed by a thematic craft with the little ones in your life. Program supported by the Susan K. Black Foundation.
(FREE) Drop in with the whole family for an artist led activity every third Saturday from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Local guest artists and cultural art projects each month. Each artist will also have a pop up exhibit of their own artwork in addition to teaching their craft. Program supported by the Susan K. Black Foundation.
Boy & Girl Scouts
The Ward Museum provides a range of programs to help scouts build up their badges. The Girl Scout badges that the Ward Museum currently offers are Butterflies, Woodworker, Drawing, Insect ABCs, Photography, Oceans, Wetlands, River, and Bay. The Boy Scout badges the Ward Museum currently offers are Basketry, Bird Study, Fishing, Insect Study, Photography, Sculpture, and Woodcarving.
