Nature Journaling Club

Join the Ward Museum’s Education Department for a fun-filled evening of nature journaling.

Designed for anyone who loves the outdoors, our monthly nature journaling club meets every 3rd Thursday of the month from 4:00 to 6:00pm. Enjoy your beautiful surroundings while you sketch and write in your nature journal. Helpful tips and tricks on nature journaling and environmental observation will be provided in the beginning of each meeting. Ward educators will help guide you to get started, then you will have time to explore, and discover nature for yourself.

The start of each club meeting will begin with exploring a different subject and/or medium, followed by live journaling around Schumaker Pond! No experience is needed (recommended for ages 11 and up)!

Supplies needed: Notebook/paper, pencils, colored pencils, pencil sharpener,  pens, ruler, and yourself!
