The Ward Museum’s 200 Volunteers Contribute Nearly 10,000 Hours To The Museum Each Year

We are always looking for new and returning volunteers to work with us!

Join a growing group of enthusiastic people who enjoy art, nature and tradition in all the facets of the Ward Museum. Volunteers carry out the mission of the Ward Museum in every way and support efforts to preserve and promote regional cultural traditions. There are a variety of volunteer needs, including special events, mailing, gallery openings, and education programs.

Volunteer training is a constant endeavor with a formal training classes in February and August. The purpose of this event is to train docents and learn some more history about the Ward brothers and the museum. All volunteers are encouraged and welcome to attend.
