Held at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, Maryland
Thank you all for your support for our Virtually Modified 2021 Ward World Championship!
Please note that the Ward Museum does require COVID-19 screening (temperature check, questions about symptoms and exposure) prior to entering. If traveling from out of state please check the State of Maryland’s Office of Tourism’s website for travel guidelines.
Questions? Contact us at 410-742-4988 ext. 106, or email Kristie Clattenburg, Event Director, firstname.lastname@example.org. Follow us @WardMuseum on social media, and check back here routinely for updates.
Please note that with the modified and limited divisions/categories advancement of levels are negated for 2021.
We would like to thank everyone who sent in a carving, no matter what your level experience of carving! This year was about the carving community, keeping the spirit alive, sharing knowledge, and encouraging one another creatively. Thank you again and here is to hopefully seeing everyone in Ocean City in 2022!

Original Wildfowl Art
Calling all carvers and artists! Submit a photo of your favorite piece that you ever entered at the Ward World Championship Wildfowl Carving Competition and Art Festival. This can be from any year, and it does not have to have been awarded a ribbon. What is important is that you created it, and it is your favorite piece. Captions or descriptions up to 100 words are welcomed, but not required.
From Your Collection: Antique Decoys
Calling all decoy collectors! Submit a photo of your favorite piece from your collection of antique decoys (ca.1950 or earlier), from any region. Be sure to include who the maker is (if known), and any other necessary information for identifying the piece. Captions or descriptions up to 100 words are welcomed, but not required.
